Each student has an Individual Education Plan (IEP) aligned with the Western Australian Curriculum.
These are reported against each semester and parents have an opportunity to meet with teachers to discuss goals and progress. Our whole school comprehensive approach to learning incorporates several learning and teaching initiatives.
These include:
- Communication development (AAC/Core Word Focus)
- Streamed Literacy (InitiaLit/Cars and Stars/PLD)
- Talk 4 Writing
- Reading Eggs / Writing Legends
- Mathletics / Mathseeds
- Foundational Skills (pre curriculum learning)
- Foundations of Comprehension
- Foundations of Number
- Protective Behaviours
- Sensory Program
- Reconciliation
